Locus is a platform that helps you discover shared moments by mapping the places where you and your chosen group have spent your lives.
Locus is derived from the Latin word meaning “place” or “location.” It is often used in mathematics to denote a set of points that satisfy a particular condition.
Inspired by the method of dating tree rings, the graphic system reveals the number of years spent in each location as the rings grow outward.
The rings are dispersed based on geographic location and when multiple people coincided in the same place, the rings overlap, becoming visually brighter.
